The Daily Grind Iron Man Challenge !

Please take the time out to check out my competition. I have to say I'm glad it's only a challenge of endurance and not talent because alot of these people are way better cartoonists than me.

As you can see i'll be sticking with the journal strips only because it'll be silly to stop now. Also i'm trying to beat my personal best of 23 months of daily journal strips.

The only change I have made is that from now on i'll take the time out to erase the pencil before scanning.

Today and yesterday were tests to see if I could draw, scan and upload after a night of drinking. The Daily Grind Iron Man Challenge starts monday.

Daily Grind #2

Stealing this from i.am.jamie's who stole it from Phil.

Unless I wuss out in the next two weeks i'll be taking part in the second Daily Grind Iron Man Challenge.

Rules so far being :

1. Monday to Friday schedule (easier to track a large group of people).

2. Strip must be a minimum of 2 panels.

3. New work only.

4. No sketchpages or doodles.

5. Limit of one 1 panel strip per every two weeks/ten strips.

6. Strips must be posted by midnight PST. (I think that's 6am local time for me)

7. If you are unable to post for a period of time (i.e. on vacation), you must post your strips for those days in advance.

8. $20 US entry fee that must be paid in advance, last man standing takes all!

9. The contest is not over until only 1 artist remains. One or more
artists can't agree to give up together in an attempt to split the pot.

The more people that join in the better this will be. If you're interested here's where you let everyone know.

I'll be doing pretty much what I already do except maybe not post weekends.
I'm pretty damn excited about it and confident in my chances.

I'm may need some cheerleading now though to make sure I don't chicken out :\

The danger of drawing an entry too early in the day is that something alot more interesting may happen later. Something happened after all this that makes pipe smoking taxi drivers seem boring.

Ive at the Big Day Out 2005.

This isn't every band I saw yesterday, just a select few.
I didn't include Le Tigre or Regurgitator. I liked them but I had nothing to say about them.

The lead singer is wild and hilarious.

I think I might've missed "Run" as well.

When he sung the chorus to "Don't mug yourself" I thought "hey..yeah !"

I'm having serious trouble believing I actually saw the Beasties. It was pretty cool seeing Money Mark on the same stage as Mix Master Mike. And I wasn't expecting them to play Gratitude or any of their instrumenty songs for that matter.
